My name is Gianluca Baronchelli and I am a professional photographer accredited with the Italian Association of Journalists. The main focus of my recent work has been to portray the region of Italy from which I come: to capture its different themes and characters, from landscapes to art, food and wine.

After years of professional photography and marketing work I decided to create studioprimopiano, a workshop where I create and execute ad hoc photographic records and editorial projects, for clients for whom photography plays a leading role in their marketing strategy.

In recent years I was employed by Ogilvy&Mather to create the national and international photographic campaign for the promotion of tourism in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. I am also responsible for the photography used in the marketing of a number of prestigious wineries in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Franciacorta. My photographs and photographic coverage have appeared in a number of national magazines, which include National Geographic, Vie del Gusto, Weekend and Viaggi, Traveller.
